With a degree in History, Kaiya began her career in SEO and copywriting, driven by that same passion for research and storytelling. By developing an understanding of websites, Kaiya found a love for balancing compelling stories and beautiful content with the technical requirements of ranking factors and search engines. Broadening her experience to work with the Paid Media team, and then completing a Digital Product Design and UX certification, Kaiya then moved into a Digital Marketing role, learning the ins and outs of each channel and understanding how they form a part of the bigger whole. Her role within Navigator today combines her multi-channel knowledge and love for organising with her unwaveringly chatty personality.

What do you love the most about your clients?
Apart from the brilliant people, it’s the meaning and purpose at the heart of each brand. It’s not just a beautiful hotel, or a luxury lifestyle offering, but a brand that has a story at its essence, which informs all of our marketing efforts.

What’s the trickiest part of your role?
It’s about finding that delicate balance between a client’s desires, their brand’s needs, and what you know works. It’s not always that what works is what looks or reads the best, but it’s a really fun challenge to find that sweet spot.

Any hobbies?
An endless list! From enjoying music and discovering new DJs, to netball, tennis and swimming, to making jewellery – I never seem to have a dull moment.
