Fran Kellett
Editor in Chief
Fran is an award-winning travel writer and editor by trade, the former Travel Editor of Tatler and the Digital Travel Editor of The Telegraph – but that’s just half the story.
Having launched her own content agency, finding her feet in the world of brand storytelling with some of the industry’s leading luxury travel companies, she is now Editor-in-chief of Navigator.
She is still a jobbing journalist, holding the title of Travel Editor-at-large at Country & Town House and contributing regularly to The Times, LUXX, National Geographic Traveller and others. Fran is considered an industry expert on luxury and sustainable travel, and gets quite shouty about the environment.
QUESTION 1
Why Navigator?
Because the team is the best in the business: proper digital marketing experts and luxury travel pros, and all way ahead of the curve.
QUESTION 2
Why do stories matter?
How people communicate with brands is changing faster than ever, and companies need to get their story straight to stay relevant. That makes my job very fun indeed.
QUESTION 3
Favourite place in the world?
I love a city by the sea (Cape Town, San Francisco, Rio), but my top holiday spot is a secret lake on the German/Swiss border. If I tell you about it, though, I will have to kill you.
